One-to-one

Private yoga sessions, one-to-one over video

A private session gives you a full hour of a teacher's attention. We plan the session around you: what you would like to work on, how much experience you have, the space you practise in and any modifications that help you feel comfortable.

Private sessions are a good choice if you would like to build confidence before joining a group, want to refine your practice, or simply prefer to practise without others on the call.

  • Practice tailored to your experience, energy levels and available space
  • A brief written summary afterwards so you can practise on your own

What to expect

A typical session

  1. Before the session

When you book, tell us what you would like to focus on. You can share anything else that helps us plan, but only what you are comfortable sharing.

  2. Check-in

We talk through your goals and how you are feeling today.

  3. Practice

A guided session at your pace, with time to explore options and ask questions.

  4. Wind-down and summary

A short rest, then a recap of what to practise between sessions.

How it is delivered

Private sessions take place on Zoom. Because individual feedback is the point of a private session, having your camera on is strongly recommended, but it is still your choice.

Sessions are available at set times each week. Choose a time on the booking page; if none of them suit you, get in touch.

Accessibility and modifications

Everything in a private session can be adapted: floor-based, standing or chair-supported practice, slower pacing, longer rests or more explanation.

If you have particular access needs, let us know in advance so the session can be planned with them in mind.

Safety

Yoga teachers are not medical practitioners, and a private session is not a medical or physiotherapy assessment. If you have an injury, a health condition or are recovering from surgery, please seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before booking and follow their guidance.

Questions

Private sessions: frequently asked questions

Can a private session help with an injury or a health condition?

We cannot diagnose or treat injuries or health conditions. If you have one, speak to a qualified healthcare professional first. With their guidance, we can adapt the practice so it feels comfortable for you.

Can two people from the same household share a session?

Please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether a shared session is possible.

What if none of the available times suit me?

Send us a message with the days and times that work for you, and we will let you know what we can offer.

How many private sessions should I book?

There is no obligation to book more than one. Some people book a single session to get started and then join group classes; others prefer regular sessions or a personalised programme.
